Working Principle:

The EC series jaw crusher takes the eccentric shaft + elbow plate as the core transmission mechanism, which transforms the rotational movement of the motor into the recirrecing swing of the moving jaw. Through the periodic extrusion of the moving jaw and the fixed jaw, it realises the efficient coarse crushing operation of hard rock, ore and other materials. Product Instructions for Use:

  1. Discharge port adjustment: The adjustment of the discharge port of the Planet EC series crusher is done through the adjustment screw on both sides of the crusher, and the discharge port is stepless adjustment. When adjusting the discharge port, the two adjustment screws must be adjusted synchronously, and only one side of the screw is not allowed to be adjusted.
  2. The order of start-up and shutdown:
    1. Start-up order: start the discharge device – start the crusher – start the feeding device
    2. Shutdown order; stop the feeding device – stop the crusher – stop the discharge device
  1. Correct feeding: The correct feeding should fall vertically into the crushing cavity. The feeding should not impact the jaw head. The feeding particle size must be controlled within the specified range. Excessive feeding will greatly reduce the capacity of the crusher. When the feed volume reaches 2/3 of the crushing cavity, the crusher has the highest efficiency.

 

Product Maintenance:

  1. Lubricate once every 40 working hours), see Section 5.3.3 of the manual for the required amount of grease.
  2. Lubricate the discharge port adjustment device and check the condition of its rubber cover (mechanical adjustment of the discharge port),
  3. Check the wear of the cheek plate and replace it if necessary.
  4. Check the elbow plate in the middle, the straightness and whether there are cracks.
  5. Check the elbow seat and rubber seal, and clean the surface of the elbow seat if necessary.
